Vicks VapoRub ointment is a topical cough medicine with medicated vapors that work quickly to relieve your cough, nasal congestion, and muscle aches and pains due to colds. VapoRub is suitable for both adults and children ages two and up.
Uses
- Rub on chest and throat to temporarily relieve cough and nasal congestion associated with the common cold.
- Rub on muscles and joints, temporarily relieves minor aches and pains of muscles and joints.
What does Vicks VapoRub do?
Vicks VapoRub temporarily relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation associated with the common cold. It can also be used to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains of muscles and joints.
How often can I use Vicks VapoRub?
For cough suppression, Vicks VapoRub may be used to up to three times daily. Simply rub a thick layer on your chest and throat. For muscle/joint minor aches and pains, Vicks VapoRub may be applied to the affected area no more than three to four times daily.
Can Vicks VapoRub be used on babies?
Vicks VapoRub should only be used on children ages two years and up. Vicks BabyRub may be used on babies three months and up. Gently massage on the chest, neck and back to help soothe and comfort your baby.
