Tamper Alerts: Curious kids or house guests? Tamper alerts keep you informed about unauthorized attempts, backup key access, and failed reset attempts. The Smart.Safe. will notify you of any tampering and log those events with a timestamp.
Self Diagnsotics: The Smart.Safe has its own health monitor. After each use a thorough self-diagnostic is performed. Results along with the battery power remaining are shown to you on the LCD screen. Even when asleep, the Smart.Safe. regularly performs an automated self-check and alerts you immediately if anything is wrong.
AutoLock: If the door is closed, the door is locked. Most safes burden you with remembering to lockup after every use. A common mistake is to close the door and forget to lock it. The Verifi Smart.Safe. employs a unique feature that senses when the door is closed and automatically locks the safe for you.
Nite-Light: When opening the safe a low intensity nite-light softly illuminates the interior of the safe, without blinding you. Within the Verifi Smart.Safe. settings, you can control the duration of light or even turn it off if you wish for a stealthy operation.

Safes built with small, cheap optical sensors often include keypads for backup access when the sensors won’t work. That’s not how we build Verifi Smart Safes. Our safes utilize the same large area, capacitive fingerprint sensing technology used by the United States government.
The superior TouchChip TCS1 silicon fingerprint sensor has been tested and certified by the FBI to meet the Next Generation Identification (NGI) standard for fingerprint image quality. It's large because it must be; a smaller sensor wouldn’t provide the quality fingerprint images needed to properly secure your firearms, prescription medications or other valuable items.

Engineering interior lighting that won't drain your batteries is not an easy feat- but we've done it! Verifi Smart Safes feature an LED lighting system that can be varied in intensity and duration without significantly impacting battery life.
When set to Nite-Lite+ intensity, the LED will provide just enough soft, indirect light to illuminate your safe’s contents without causing night blindness, which can be dangerous in a middle-of-the-night emergency. But if your find yourself needing more light, just hold the start button on the front of the safe and release it when it has reach your desired intensity.
