The bed has hidden storage with its smooth opening pull out storage footboard, and it offers comfort for daily use with the upholstered headboard. Storage abounds in large pieces that are accented with top-mounted nickel-plated pulls; each piece has mitered tops and sides and is presented on a floating plinth base for stability. Drawers all feature full extension ball bearing glides, have a weight capacity of 50 lbs. each, and felt (removeable) lined top drawer in the tall chest.
