The Appalachian 8-Piece Dining Set is our vision of the refined and rejuvenated lodge motif. We combine exotic hardwoods and exquisite design elements with time-honored craftsmanship to produce a dining collection that delivers both a rustic and refined appeal. 
As the sustainable hardwoods for this collection, we selected mango and rubberwood. We chose mango for the dining table and server due to its brilliant grain characteristics. Solid mango has diverse, striated grain patterns and unique opalescent qualities that give it a shimmering appearance. We construct the support elements (trestle base, chair backs, and legs) from solid rubberwood. Not only does rubberwood have exceptional strength and density properties, its subtle grain texture allows it to blend seamlessly and establish the solid mango table top as the collection’s distinct focal point. Our 6-step burnished honey finish enhances the natural traits of the hardwood while adding a warm, even tone and mild distressing to accentuate the relaxed aesthetic. 
Additionally, we integrated special features into this collection that make entertaining guests simple and convenient. To ensure an easy, one-person operation, our 92” trestle dining table pairs an equalizing cable glide system with a 20" self-storing butterfly leaf and provides spacious seating for 8 guests. To achieve superior seating in our dining chairs, we incorporated 3” thick foam cushions and Pirelli webbing into the oversized, upholstered seating. To optimize both storage and function, the 58” sideboard features three felt-lined silverware drawers with full extension metal drawer glides, removable wine racks, and an oversized bottom shelf.
